Terms of Use

The agreement for using Sgibbt

Effective date: 12 August 2026

These terms govern your use of the Sgibbt app. By downloading or using the app you agree to them. They are an agreement between you and the individual developer of Sgibbt, not with Apple.

Who you can contact

Sgibbt is made and published by a solo independent developer, not a company. For any question about these terms, write to turretspire@gmail.com.

Licence

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to use Sgibbt on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service. You may not copy, redistribute, rent, reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source code of the app, except to the extent that restriction is prohibited by law.

Your content

Everything you write, record, or give a colour to remains yours. We claim no ownership of it and, as described in the Privacy Policy, we have no access to it. You are responsible for what you choose to store in the app, and for keeping your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose — export exists for that purpose.

Acceptable use

Use the app lawfully. Do not use it to store or transmit anything unlawful, and do not attempt to interfere with its operation or with Apple's services.

Sgibbt Plus, billing and renewal

What stays free

The daily loop — today's colour and today's page — is free for as long as you use the app. If a Plus subscription lapses, nothing you have already written or recorded is deleted; the features listed as Plus simply stop being available.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, and refunds are governed by Apple's policies. We cannot issue refunds directly. Requests can be made through Apple's "Report a Problem" page.

What the app is not

Sgibbt is a personal journalling tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, diagnosis or treatment. Nothing in the app — including the monthly summaries — should be relied on as a clinical assessment. If you are struggling, please speak to a qualified professional.

Availability and changes to the app

We aim to keep the app working and to fix problems promptly, but the app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law. Features may change between versions. iCloud sync depends on Apple's services and on your account being signed in and available.

Termination

You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your licence if you materially breach these terms. Sections that by their nature should survive — your ownership of your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and governing law — survive termination.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our liability arising from your use of the app is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

Apple

The following apply because the app is distributed through the App Store:

Governing law

Sgibbt is made and published by an individual developer based in Pakistan. These terms are governed by the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law rules, and the courts of Pakistan will have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

This does not take away rights you have where you live. If the consumer protection law of your country of residence gives you rights that cannot be contracted away, or the right to bring proceedings in your local courts, those rights still apply.

Changes to these terms

Updated terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the app after that date means you accept them.
